ict modules

I have a problem in my center I recruited participants who are a bit old and so the ict modules is taking a very long time for example the module meet your computer took me five days that is when they were able to create folders and save their work.Am looking for ways in which I can teach the module using easy ways so that they can understand fast if anyone has any suggestions please help me out.

My names are jane nyokabi mwaura, am a reachup intern.My project to the community is to expand on the subject of HIV/AIDS and drugs campaign because in the community I live in drugs are killing young people.
The following is the Reachup! goal.
To empower the youth with knowledge and skills,and make them leaders then send them back to their communites,where they become agents of change.

In this program technology will be of great use to the communities once they are taught about it.
Most of them run small businesses,and keeping records of lets say, sales and stock are a challenge.
An application like excel will be of great use to these business people.
